Common curb styles

Common curb styles

Below are a few common curb styles.

The slant style

Slant Style

This is the most popular because it has the widest variety of stamping and texturing options. The back of the curb is almost 4" high to hold in garden mulch and the front side of the curb is low enough to facilitate ease of mowing. The slanted look shows off any texturing or stamping that may be applied.

Mower Style

Mower Style

This style is designed to accommodate a lawn mower wheel in front (2") and at the same time retain garden mulch because of its 4" back side. It also has great curb appeal because it sets off the landscaping with a picture frame type of look.

The 6 x 4

The 6 x 4

This curb style is generally set at ground level for lawn mowing, primarily in commercial applications. It can be installed as regular gray concrete or it can be colored, stamped and textured.
